Team 7 Gargoyles

I wanted to draw team 7 as Gargoyles because I've been thinking a lot about the shows lately. They're supposed to be their current older selves but they look younger for some reason... anyway...

Sasuke I wanted him to have a snake vibe to him because of his "alliance" with Orochimaru and well he can summon snakes. I wanted him to have more horns than Naruto to make him look more intimidating. I decided to make Sasuke's skin color a blue-ish purple because those are the colors he wears most often.

Naruto I figured for him to look canine-ish (although he looks feline-ish) would be best for him because of Kurama sealed inside him (idk how that would work with him being a gargoyle...). I also thought it would look best if he actually had whiskers and they weren't just drawn on. And finally I gave him horns that curve back because although Naruto can be intimidating in a fight his personality isn't threatening. Naruto being orange seemed like a no brainer.

Sakura I wanted emphasize her forehead more so I kept her bangs out of her face and gave her two little horns on the top of her head. The female Gargoyles in the show often looked the most human and although Sakura looks the most human, I thought that giving her an animalistic nose deviated a bit form looking completely human. I don't know why but this design reminds me of an imp. Sakura's skin I decided would be a dark pink, once again it seemed like a no brainer. Sakura, cherry blossoms, their pink.... yeah

I might do a full body model sheets of them, if I can figure out what their clothes and wings should look like...
